Well, I decided to re-watch A Silent Voice. Over the last few days, I have seen many posts on X talking about certain scenes from this movie, and I originally saw it back in 2023. So, I decided it was time for a refresher.
Just like the first time I watched this movie, it moved me to tears, and I think it would move almost anyone. It’s a sad, touching, and emotional rollercoaster!

In a way, I almost hate watching this because it makes me so sad. I don’t want to go and really spoil anything here, but, with the bullying and the premise of feeling worthless to the point of wanting to end it all, I think it resonates with a lot of people…
This movie touches on stuff that I think many people have gone through IRL and I think that really pulls on you.
Also, the animation for this film is AMAZING. Like, it’s all so great and beautiful, huge props to the artists that worked on this!

Well, this is a coming-of-age story full of regret, change, and growth. If you are deciding on watching this and you enjoy movies like what I have described here, then you should 100% give it a go.
This is genuinely one of the most touching films I have ever seen, and I think it’s an amazing work of art. I absolutely loved this, even with how sad it made me in some parts, haha.
