Now, let’s get something straight here: I liked this show, like, a lot. At first, I stopped around episode 3 because I was a bit bored with the intro, but I came back to it, and I am glad I did!
After coming back, I really got into how the show was explaining the story. Without any spoilers, it basically does this back and forth between the past and present with the main characters of “Monarch”.
It shows how everything was built and explains why the characters are, well, how they are. Also, the CGI in this show is pretty great; I didn’t have any issues with it.
But anyways, I actually liked the slow burn of the story as the show progressed between the past and the present, and I think most people will too.
Overall, I thought the show was good and I liked how the storyline went, even though I got bored my first time around. Giving this show a second chance was definitely worth it!
Apparently, season 2 has wrapped up filming and editing, so I am ready to see what they have next in store!
